Greetings
This will be short as I'm actually on the road getting ready for a pair of workshops.
Palouse Workshop

Since the June 5-10 Palouse workshop sold out so fast and there was such interest, I've added a second session for June 14-19. This workshop is also limited to six and is also $500.
The Dam Book second edition

A new edition of The Dam Book by Peter Krogh is now out. It's been updated and rewritten to include new technologies and programs such as Adobe Lightroom. If you're struggling with managing your digital images, this is a must have book.
I haven't purchased the book yet but once I do, I'll pass along my thoughts.
WordWeb

When you're on your computer, do you ever run across a word you don't know? Sure, we all do. I usually keep a dictionary close at hand for such moments. Well, there's a really cool dictionary utility called WordWeb where all you do is CTRL-right click on a word and a window pops up with a dictionary entry for that word. It also lists synonyms and more. The best part (besides the fact that it works great) is that it's free. Go to www.wordweb.com to download the utility.
Workshops

Don Mammoser and I still have room in our Colorado Mountains and Wildflowers workshop, July 7-11 as well as our CO Fall Color in late Sept. We're also leading a workshop to Zion National Park for Photographers Alliance Workshops at the end of October.

The Shoot and Process workshop in Newport, OR I'm doing with David Middleton in September for Photographers Alliance Workshops has sold out. There are plans for more of this type of workshop for 2010 and I'll be letting you know when our 2010 schedule is available. And if you've wanted to photograph the Canadian Rockies, Don Mammoser is leading a workshop for PAW in mid- September.
And don't forget the Wineries of Oregon's Willamette Valley Photo Tour I'm leading with my friend Dick Badger (price reduced to $650). This one is a lot of fun as there is a lot more than photographic subjects to explore.
