Greetings
Not a whole lot of excitement to report this month. I am getting excited about a couple of things though. First, the Seattle Mariners signed Ken Griffey Jr. to a one- year contract. That's exciting for all Seattle baseball fans especially in light of last year's dismal season. The other thing I'm excited about is the new Star Trek movie.
Ok, I'm a geek.
Singh-Ray blog postings

I've got a couple of new blog postings over at the Singh-Ray Focus on Filters blog. One is about the difference between Neutral Density versus Graduated Neutral Density filters. Click here to read that posting.
And the other is about the steps I use in the field to pick which strength of Grad ND to use for any given situation. This is based on the teaching program I use during workshops. You can read that posting here.
PA Workshops email list

If you want to be kept up to date with what's going on with Photographer's Alliance Workshops, there's a mailing list you can join. I also have another article posted on the PAW site.
Meet the animals at Triple "D"

Triple "D" has launched a "Trainer's Blog" to introduce their animals. Go to the Triple "D" site and look for the link to the blog. It's at the bottom of the link buttons on the left hand side of the page.

Last I heard there might be a couple of openings for the June 11-14 Animals in Spring shoot I'm leading for Triple "D". Call Kathleen at 406-755-9653 if you're interested in signing up.

And Don and I still have openings for our June 15-20 Wildlife and Landscape photo workshop to Triple "D" and Glacier National Park.

Upcoming Workshops

And just a reminder that Don and I still have a few openings left for both our Arches and our Yosemite National Park workshops. These two parks really are icons of the American landscape and should be on every outdoor and nature photographer's list of places to go.
That's All

told ya. Not a whole lot of excitement. Spring is about to spring if we can get past the sub-freezing tempuratures we've had. Bailey and I have been taking our regular walks. Well, she mostly runs, sniffs, explores, and rolls in stinky-weird stuff. We can hear the frogs a croakin' out at the nearby beaver pond, though I don't think there are any beavers left as I haven't seen them for a few years.
