Ah yes, another late newsletter. That's what happens
in the middle of workshop season.

CO Wildflowers |
|
|
|
|
Our recent CO Wildflower and Mountain Scenery
workshop was great. The flowers were a little late but
we still found plenty of them, and plenty of other things
to photograph as well. The highlight of the trip had
to be our all day jeep tour. We saw and photographed
flowers, streams, waterfalls, the ghost town of Animus
Forks, and great mountain scenery. The view from
12,900 ft. California Pass was stunning.
Don and I will be doing this trip again next year, July
12-16, and we anticipate another sold out workshop.
If you want to be sure you get a spot, visit our CO Mountain Scenery page for
more information and instructions on signing up.

Zion National Park |
|
|
|

Fall color and the red rocks of Zion National Park
makes for a great combinations. Don and I still have
space available in our Zion workshop this fall. Autumn
is a great time to be in one of our most photogenic
national parks and Zion will be at its prime.
Visit my Zion workshop page for more details.

Patagonia 2009 |
|
|
|

The word I have from Janie at Distinctive Journeys is
that there are only three spaces left for next year's
Patagonia Photo Tour. This trip is being led by world
renowned landscape photographers David Muench
and (Pulitzer Prize winner) Jack Dykinga.
It's not often you get a chance to learn from both of
these masters at the same time, not to mention being
in one of the most amazing places on the
planet.
Download the itinerary here and visit the Distinctive
Journeys website for information on registering.

And for those of you still remotely interested in my
home improvement projects, the bathroom project is
done. Well mostly. I still have some trim work to do. I'll
save that for next month when I don't have any
workshops scheduled. And, oh boy, I get to replace
our fence next month too. I'm thinking I should just
stay on the road, but I'd miss Bailey way too much.
Probably miss my wife too. And, if you're still
reading, my grandson Parker is doing just fine as
well. He's nearly seven months old now.
Ok, that's it for now. I'm heading to the Oregon Coast
this week for workshop with my friend David
Middleton, always a fun time.
