The latest in sensor cleaning is a product called Dust-
Aid. It's an adhesive pad that you place on your sensor
and pull up all the dust bunnies you've been
collecting. Take a look at this video and if it looks like
something you'd like, you can visit the Dust-Aid
website. and place an order.
Reviews I've read, including those here and here, about this product
have been
positively glowing. I've had it for only a few days and I
can tell you that it's easy to use and that it's
effective. |

My latest book, The Photographer's Guide to
Puget
Sound and Northwest Washington (that's a
long
title, isn't it?), is scheduled for a June 4th release, but
I'm taking pre-orders now for autographed copies.
The price is $14.95 (plus tax for WA residents) plus
$2 shipping. Click here
to go to my order page. |

Most of the workshops I'm doing this year have
already sold out, but there are still a few that have
some space left.
As far as I know, there's still one space left in the Oly mpic National Park workshop I'm doing for The Nature Workshops. I'm also doing an Oregon Coast workshop for the same company and there's still room in that one as well. The Canadian Rockies workshop I'm doing with Don Mammoser in September is about half full and there is still plenty of room in the Vermont Fall Color tour I'm doing with David Middleton in October. |

If you've missed out on any of my fun-filled, jam-
packed, scintillating newsletters....uh, right.
Anyway, if you've missed any, or just want to go back in time, I've posted the monthly newsletters back to November 2005. I'll be adding the rest soon, but at least you'll have access to the entire history of Bailey the Labradoodle. To access the newsletters, just go to my website and click on the Newsletters Archive link. |

In February of next year I'll be joining David Muench
and Jack Dykinga on a trip to Patagonia. I'll be there
providing technical help for both digital and film
shooters as well as assisting in logistics.
For more information and to download an itinerary, visit the Distinctive Journeys website. This looks like a fantastic trip to one of the world's most dramatic landscapes and I'm really looking forward to it. I hope some of you can join me.
That's all for now. I'll most likely be posting more
information on the Patagonia trip soon; it just came up
and I wanted to be sure to tack it on to this newsletter.
