Rod Barbee Photography Newsletter

Greetings
This is going to be a short newsletter folks. I've been
busy getting ready for workshops and gathering
information for a book project (and, of course,
playing daddy to Bailey the labradoodle)

Want something different to do with your pictures?
How
about turning them into ethereal, painterly images
that have rich colors and a sort of glow to them.
This is a film technique updated for the digital age.
Originally, it was done by sandwiching two slides,
both overexposed, one of them sharp, and the other
out of focus.
Since Darwin Wiggett has already written a great
article on how to do this (and I'm short on time, as
noted above), I'll just point you to his article on
Nature Photographers Network.

That's all folks |

Like I said, this would be short. I'll try to think of
something more interesting for next month. In the
mean time, feast your eyes on the cutest little
labradoodle in all of ...well...my backyard.
