Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks

Wyoming's wonders

I'll admit I haven't spent as much time in Yellowstone or the Tetons as I have in other parks. Could be I'm turned off by summer crowds. But for wildlife, Yellowstone in the spring and winter is hard to beat. Searching for bears or elk calves in early June gets to be an exciting quest. And the winter landscapes are special.
I really like the Grand Tetons in the fall. The days are cool, the colors are great, and the mountains look spectacular, especially with a fresh coating of snow. Plus it's less crowded in the fall. And you never know when you might come across a moose or two. I haven't been that lucky yet. Maybe next time.
